There is promise of an unusually brilliant season not only at Nice but also at all the beauty spots between here and Menton, where increasing numbers of British visitors come year by year to find the sun in winter. Already last vPar the Riviera was making strenuous efforts to overcome the effects of the war. This season it can he confidently stated that pre-war conditions will.he very nearly attained Visitors who wish to motor along th*. Corniche road towards Italy will find ample facilities. A special motor agency has come to Nice from Amiens, where since, the war it has been taking tourists round the battlefields.
