It is understood that it is intended to entertain him during his stav I in Christchurch. ( The organiser of the Progress League (Mr P. R. Climie) lias obtained Mr Massey’s approval to the following pro- | gramme:— Saturday, February 12 -Fuller’s Opera House. Sunday, February 13—Leave 9 a.m. for Akaroa, lunching at Akaroa, and returning in tho evening. Monday, February 14—Morning free, Leave 2 p.m. on inspection of Lyttol-ton-Christchurch railway, including station yard. Tuesday, February 15—Leave Curistchurch 8 a.m. for Oxford, via Barfield and Waimakariri Gorge bridge. Lunch at Oxford and return via Rangiora. meeting Rangiora residents during the afternoon.. Wednesday, February 16—Free. Thursday, February 17 —-Leave tor West Coast, inspecting Otira tunnel en route.
