WEDDING BELLS
On last Wednesday Three Mile was eii fete when the friends of Mr and Mrs A. Edwards, assembled at their residence in honor of the occasion oi the marriage of their daughter Agnes, to Mr Leslie Adamson. The wedding ceremony was held at St Mao s Church,'the Rev Father Riordan being the officiating clergyman. The bride, who looked very sweet, entered the church on the arm of her father. She was attended by her sister, .Miss A. Edwards as bridesmaid. The bridegroom was assisted by Mr Harry Adamson as groomsman. After the ceremony the party motored to the home ot the bride’s parents, where n sumptuous breakfast awaited them. Iu ly one hundred people partook of the gooc tilings provided by their hosts. The usual toast lists were honored The hsippv couple left by motor for Christchurch and Invercargill where then ■honeymoon will be spent. They were the recipients of a large number oi useful presents, including seven substantial cheques. In the evening ft dance was held in the Three Mile Hall which was numerously attended. Everyone enjoyed themselves to the full.
