The Chairman to move:—“That the accounts for the month of January, ID2I, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £ , be passed for payment.” 2. The Chairman to move: —‘That the town members of the Council be appointed a sub-committee to act for nltd on behalf of the Council in dealing with tenders for County works to close on the 28th. inst.” ;b Cr Chinn to move:—“That Overseer Millner be authorised to have Petersen's road works put in hand by day labor, and M. Collett be appointed working foreman in charge of same.” 4. Cr. Chinn to move:—“That application be made for the transfer of the Waitaha to South Reach road vote o £SOO to Black Creek bridge and culverts required on the neighbouring work of Bold Head road serving the same community.” 5 Cr Ritchie to move:— I hat Minister of Fublie Works be urged to call for tenders for Slippery I'ace io.u deviation, £SOO grant, as early as possible, the work being urgently required for the convenience and salt . of public traffic.”
