Although the night was hot for dancing, dance followed dance in quick succession.

At the request of the Committee, Mr Handle made a presentation of a silver manicure set; a lovely necklet and a box of beautifully embroidered handkerchiefs to Miss Linklater. In doing so lie was desired to thank her sincerely for her untiring assistance in all past socials, etc., and to wish her health and happiness and prosperity in the future, .Miss Linklater feelingly responded, thanking her friends for the beautiful presents and their kind wishes; assuring them that she would never forget them, and hoped they would also have good health and all other good things.
