The Taranaki J.C.’s Autumn Meeting concluded to-da.v in fine weather in the presence of a large attendance of people. .The course was in good order, though the going "'as on the hard side. Results:— Okoke Hack Hurdles.—Munition 1, To Toa 2, Toa Tere 3. Won by three quarters of a length. Time 2.56. Kawau Hack Handicap Stork 1, (Quiniro 2, Trombone 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.51. Seventh Taranaki Stakes.—Gloaming 1, Silver Link 2, Rossini 3. Won easily by one and, a hall lengths. Time 1.16 2-5.
Omata Hack Handicap.—Festive 1, Master Curran 2, Skylight 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.16. Paul Memorial Handicap.—Marquefour 1. Bo Peep 2. Yolo 3. The only starters. Won by a head. Time 1.16. Nursery Handicap.—Tommy Pot 1, Mockery 2, Ornnga 3. Won by a head. Time 1.2 2-5.
Urenui Electric Handicap.—Skylight 1, Potona 2, Kate 3. Time 1.2 2-5.
Farewell Handicap. Income 1, Solla nello 2, Pass in ’Through 3. Won hv half a length. Time 1.14. FIRST DAY’S RESULTS. GISBORNE, Feb 3. The Gisborne Racing Club’s Summer Meeting - opened in dull weather, and rain fell at intervals up till the fourth race. There was a good attendance. The, course, however, was iu first-class condition, the going being good. The tote put through £29,909, compared with £23,415 for the corresponding day last year, a decrease of £2145. Results:—
