KOKATAHI STORE CATTLE SALE
Messrs M. Houston and-Co'., report: —AW held our Summer Sale of Store stock, at the above yards on Wednesday, there being a good attendance of buyers. Competition was keen for all well-grown forward stock which sold at very satisfactory (Trices, but small and backward sorts were down in values and weaner calves were practically neglected. We sold on account of Wallace Bros, 16 fat lambs at 22/-, 8 fat sheep at 28/-; For A. Mehnrry 18 fat sheep at 29/-; For Wallace Bros. 1 dry cow at £5/5/-, lat £3/10/-; for AV. .Tones, 6 calves at 30/-, 2 dry cows at£9/17/6, 1 at £4, 10 lßmos. steers at £3/14/6; for P. Jones, 6 18-mos. steers at £3/12'-; For D. Mulholland 16 2Jyr. steers at £7/8/-, 1 aged <*ow at 37/6; For J. G. Meharry, 2 2yr. steers at £6, 1 2yr. heifer at £6; For Little Bros., 1 fat steer at 2Jyr. steers and 1 heifer at £6/17/6; For R. AVhiley, 1 cow and calf at £5, 1 heifer at £3; For D.
