In the Doubles, Brookes and 0 Hunt Wood defeated Tilden and Johnston 6-3, 8-6, 4-6, 7-5. The grand totals wore—America, seven matches, 17 sols, 146 games; Australia, two matches, seven .slots, 120 games. Over two thousand attended the third day’s tennis at Double Bay. The weather was fine and hot.

Johnston and O’Hara AYoocl opened the programme. The second set proved a line contest both players racing neck and nock and were four all, Johnsln winning at 11-9. After one deuce Heath easily accounted for Washburn who played in lieu of Tihlcn.
