The Dominion howling champions-iip was continued to-day. The pairs competition (sixteen heads played), resulted as follows:
Hutchison (Dunedin) 12, Porteous (Wellington) 10, Chegwin (Beckenham), 12, Smith (Hataitai) 9, Sexton (Newtown) 15, (Newtown) 11, Benyon (Pctone) li, Jackson (Canterbury) 10, Proctor (Victoria) 19, Foley (Thermion) 18, Jury (Karnngaliape) 21, .Vunro (Eastbourne) 17, Dee (Maita’i) 17, Harrowa.v (Dunedin) 11 Potter (Wellington) 20, Tyrrell (l’yall Bay) 12. The contestants met early to see which should lie eligible for this morning’s round. Eleven heads wore played. Potter won by 9—7. Second RoUnd.-Sexton (Newtown) 1,1, Jury (karnngahape) 17, Potter (Wellington) 18, Beynon (Petonc) 8, Proctor (Victoria) 12, Huichison (Dune din) 10 Chegwin (Beckenham) 13, Deo (Matai) 12. In the semi-final the results were: Potter 22, Proctor (Victoria) 7, Sexton (Newtown) 17, Chegwin (Beckenham) 16. The final will e concluded to-morrow. The conclusion of the singles on Wednesday will see the finish of the tournament.
