MILLERS. [ JIV TKl.HfiltAlMl—-PKU I‘HKSS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON, Jan. 21. The Dominion Sawmillers have been considering the statement of forest policy submitted by Sir E. D. Bell, and while suggesting some variations in the matter of detail, have declared tlieir willingness to co-operate with the Government.

The question of restricting timber export was also diseussel. On behalf of the millers of Duller it was emphasised the need .for exchange with Australia. We wantel jarraih and they required kauri and white pine. If Australia -adopted the same attitude, timber' would not be worked.
