Bolshevist apprehensions regarding the Turkish nationalist advance eastward, appear reflected in advice from ,m Tiflis that owing to, an ultimatum by the Armenian Soviet Government to Turkey, the Turk's evacuated Alexan dropol. It is also reported diat Armenian Soviet backed by Moscow demanded the immediate evaluation of Kars and withdrawal of all Turkish troops to the 1915 frontiers of Armenia, and a full, immediate reparation for damage done by Turkish troops in Armenia.
