Tho tennis match between teams of New South Wales and Canterbury players concluded to-day, the visitors seciirinlg a. somewhat easy win. The courts were heavy at the outset, owing to tin; rain overnight, but they soon dried and played excellently. Results: — Singles.—M. 11. Marsh beat P. G. Greenwood 4—6, 6 4, B—6; N. Peach boat G. G. Aitken 6—3, 75; A. S. Watt heat F. S. Wilding, 6—3, 6—3.
