BOWLING.
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSNCOPYRIGHT. WELLINGTON, Jan. 18. A meeting of delegates of various bowling centres and the Dominion Council last night discussed a. protest from Canterbury Centre, which read— That this centre protests against the arrangements made by the Dominion Council from the playing of the tournament, necessitating such an inordinr' - extension of the time for Completion of {Hie tournament. During the discussion which followed, it was suggested that rinks matches and pairs and singles matches be separated and it .was decided to ask centres for an expression of opinion on the question.' The question of appointing a permanent .secretary was also discussed, and it was decided to place the suggestion before the centres.
