HOKITIKA HARBOUR BOARD

A special meeting of the Hokitika Harbour Board was held at noon on Saturday. Present: Messrs 11.- Wild (Chairman) ; O. J. Nightingale, M. Houston and J. J. Mclntosh. The applications for space for stacking timber on the river bank were opened and dealt with. The following is the result: Feeney—Skids 1,2, and 3. ITaekell —Skids 4 and 5. Graham and Johnston —Skids G, 20 and 24 . Pine mills—Skids 7, 22, and 25. Westland Prospecting—Skids 8, 9 and 2G. Kokatahi Mill Skids 10, 21. and 23. Knnieri Sawmill—Skids 11, 12 and 13. Stuart and Chapman—l 4 16, and 17. Post and Telegraph—lß and 19. Fire Plug—ls. On the motion of the Chairman it was unanimously resolved to allot the spaces as balloted for. This concluded the business and the meeting adjourned.
