WEDDING BELLS.

A marriage was celebrated by the Roy P. ib Fraser, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church ou Thursday Gtli Jan. the contracting parties being Miss Isabella Ruth Foote, third daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Foote of Hokitika, and Mr Wiii. Jones, eldest soil of Mr and Mis W. Jones of Hokitika. The bride who entered the church on the arm of her father wore a grey gnrbndine costume and pretty pink silk and straw hat, she was attended by her sister, Miss Winifred Jessie as bridesmaid, who also wore a gray garbadino costume and hat to match. The happy couple who left gv the evening train for the north were the recipients of a large number of presents, including several cheques. A very quiet wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church this morning by the Rev P. B. Fraser, M.A., the contracting parties being Miss Gladys Foote, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Foote of Hokitika and Mr Magnus Laughton, youngest son of Mrs A. Laughton of Hokitika. The' happy couple, who left by car for the north, carry with them good wishes from a large number of friends. A very quiet marriage was celebrated by the Rev Dr Holloway, at All Saint’s Chitrch, Hokitika, on Tuesday, Jan. 4th 1921, when Mr Ulrie R. Looh'art West, of Nelson, was united to Alice, youngest daughter of Mr William Nnncckivell of Woodstock.
