So far there is no intention of the Government sending a special steamer to Sydney for the New Zealanders stranded there. Some 300 got away by the Manuka on Thursday. The Moeraki is expected to sail with another 350 next Thursday. There will then he about 306 left, unless transport he obtained in the meantime.
