E. J. CARROLL’S ENTERPRISES
“The Shadow of Lightning Ridge,” which is to he screened at the Princess Theatre on Monday under the direction of K. J. Carroll gives fine opportunities for the artistic and physical abilities of “Snowy” Baker. This romance, part of which is staged in -Australia and part overseas has been taken with the object of maldrig a world wide appeal and proving that it is possible to make super features in Australia equal to the best foreign products. “Tlie shadow of Lightning Ridge” is no more meant to he typical of Australian life than “For the term of Natural Life” was meant to be typical of England from which its hero originated. It is however a super seven reel film full of vim and action and world wide heart interest, combined with magnificent photography and excellent acting, and as such has made a tremendlous appeal at home and abroad. Prices 2/1 and 1/1, seats may he reserved for the Dress Cir de at Misses Mclntosh’s.
