The attendance was very large and the amount put through the tote was £33,268, compared with £36,780 on the second day last year, a decrease of £3,512. The grand total for both days was £67,820, compared with £72,758 at the last summer meeting a decrease of £4,938. NEW YEAR HANDICAP—Hyttus J, Asterina 2, Sycorax 3. Won by a. length. Time 1.54 2-5.
