J LONDON,' December 1. 1 The “Daily News” New York correspondent «avs the British Dominions unofficially discussed with- United States Republicans, questions of naval defence and problems of the Pacific, Canada suggesting that Canadian and United States Pacific navies be united under a Canadian-Ameriean conilnand. The correspondent adds that although the communications were unofficial they intimate a confident ending and perfeet accord between future Republican administration and British Dominions. Although America does not anticipate an immediate crisis, obtain aspects of Japan’s present policy are causing speculation. Republican statesmen are adopting preparedness as a watchword.
