She pawned her poor, pitiful jewels to pay her way and then—-she met him—not in the ‘elegant home’ lie had pictured in his letters, but in a dilapidated, weatherbeaten shack. A sneering glance, a bolted door—and she realised that she had been trapped. Trapped—out there, alone in the wide, open west. Penni-les-s, the victim of a treacherous ad. she had only her woman’s weapons—but they were cold steel, and honor was at stake. To-morrow (Friday) evening, Mr McLean will present a great holiday programme starring that popular actor Bert Lyttlo in a great Metro production entitled “Once to Every 'One.” It is a thrilling picture, full of excitement and great situations. In addition there will he a laughter Snaking, comedy and gazqtto and full musical programme by McLean’s popular orchestra.
