(Received This Day at 9.45 a.m.) PARK Dec. 28, When King George visits Verdun shortly he will inspect ji great nocropolis containing forty huge tombs, representing forty battles round Verdun, ■ each containing, unidentified remains collected on the battlefields. At each corner of the nocropolis a Catholic Chapel, Protestant Church, Jewish Synagogue, or Mnssselman Mosque is being erected. It is proposed to transfer the unidentified bodies now lying in thousands in various cemeteries around the town to the famous Hill Douaumont, whose slopes will be a vast cemetery, enabling visitors at a glance to appreciate the magnitude of the struggle.
