Tin; Returned 'Soldiers’ Association conference, held recently, recommended that a War Pension Appeal Board lie constituted, consisting-of three members. one to-be a S.M., who shall lie chairman, and two registered,'medical practitioners, one to lie nominated b.v the N.Z.R.S.A., such members to bold office for the term of one year, and that such board should sit i,h the four military centres. This was brought before the notice of the Minister fo rllefence, who lias replied that the Government has decided that there shall be the right to apply to n Medical- Appeal Board. “Regulations aj-o in the course of preparation,” lie points out, “and it is hoped that the Board will be set up by the end. of tlie year. It lias not been possible to concede the request for an appeal on ’all questions arising undjer the Act, such as those relating to dependents’ pfensions, in regard to which there is eVery reason to believe that the Pension BWrd is acting reasonably within the limits allowed by law.” ' t
