WELLINGTON, This Day. It is expected that the cooks and stewards on the Wahine will give 24 hours’ notice to-day. It is expected the vessel will leave for Lyttelton tonight. The men are demanding a bonus of £2 per month, and an eight hour day. I The Arbitration Court judgment on the bonus issue is not expected for a few days. GIVING NOTICE. WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. It is understood the Wabine’s cooks and stewards give notice to-night- so that they make the return trip in her, Wellington being the home port of a majority of the men. The seamen and firemen have been instructed not to take any action in the dispute for the present.
