CHRISTCHURCH, December 16. •The Board of the New Zealand Trotting 'Association decided to-night to refer back to the Forbury Park Trotting Club the Dimlight ease for information as to whether the stewards considered the interference for which Bimltght wfis - disqualified was intentional or not. The case was forwarded by the AVinton Jockey Club, reporting that J. Duffy had been fined’ £2O. for interference. It was considered ; that tho Board inflicted a penalty of six months disqualification. The Association decided to hold at
■ its next meeting an enquiry into the starting at Forbury Park Club’s spring meeting and 1 to iuvite tlio club to send a representative. It was decided to suspend till next season a resolution recently passed, compelling the stakes for trotting events on racing clubs’ programmes to be brought up to the average value of tho whole programme.
