MAGISTRATE’S COURT
I THURSDAY, DEC. 16th. AFTERNOON SITTING. The Court resumed at 2.20 p.m. I Giving judgment in the case of Police v. Birkin, bis Worship stated the evidence was not sufficient to convict. He was of opinion that Airs Birkin did know it was Constable Fox at the door, but the evidence did not prove the fact. He advised’ Birkin, the manager, to he careful in the future conduct of the hotel. The charge would be dismissed.
