HARI HARI STOCK SALE.

At tho Hari Hari Yards on Saturday Messrs Jeffries and Co. held their annual Summer stock sale, the entry comprising 112 fat sheep and 159 head fat and store cattle. There was ft representative attendance of buyers and competition was fairly oven throughout the sale, prices however showed a decline compared with .previous fixtures in the South. The following lines were sold:

Qn account Messrs Ferguson Bros., 100 fat hoggets off shears at 29/-, 12 fat elves off shears at 29/-; On account Mr G. Linklater, 11 two year steers at £6/15/-, 10 ditto heifers at £O/8/-; On account Mr R. Cropper, 1 steep at £4/15/-; On account Mr T. Foster, 1 heifer at £5/15/-, cow and calf at £5/15/-; On account Mr G. Mansliip, 3 dry cows at £5/12/6, 7 steers and heifers at £4; On account Mr E. Kirby, 9 steers at £3/11/-, 1 ditto at £5/2/6, 1 heifer at £6/2/6, 3 dry cows at £4/2/6, cow and calf fO; On account Mr ?■ Amberger,. 1 late springer at £B/5/-, 2 heifers' at £6/10/-, 1 yearling heifer ot £3/5/-; On account Mr (5. ‘The usual fortnightly fixture at the above yards was held yesterday when 72 fat sheep and 68 head fat cattle were submitted to competition, There was a distinct falling in price for beef, no doubt, accounted for by thy fact that beef is being landed from Addington at a much less rate, per hundred than has been recently ruling at Arahura. Graziers however were ‘ quite prepared for a slight drop and took the result as a matter of course. The bulk of the yarding was cows and heifers, some of the quality being good, The .following sales were made. Messrs G. AV. spid Co. sold pn account of M,r H. N. Adamson, _ 2 prime bullocks at £22/7/6, 2 at £2l/5/-, 2 at £2O/10/-, 1 at £ls/5/-, 2 fat heifers at £l7, 1 at £ls/12/6, 2 at £ls, 1 fat heifer at £l9/7/6, i at £lB/2/6, 1 at £l7/10/-,' 1 at £l7/2/6, 1 at £l7, 1 at £l6/15/-, 1 at £l4/15/-. The Christmas Fat Stock sale at the above Yards will he held next Alonday.

AT. Houston and Co. report as follows: We hold our usual sale at the above yards yesterday, there being a good attendance of buyers. Our yarding comprised 14 fat heifers and cows which sold at prices equal to those ruling at previous sale. We sold on necoun of Mr It. Gunn — 2 heifers at £ll/17/6, 2 at £ll/10/-, 2 cows at £lO/5/-, 2 at ,£ll/5/-, 1 at £l2/10/-, 1 at £lO/17.9, 2 light heifers at £9, 2 at £9/17/0.
