The ••Standard,’’ in an editorial comments that the Argentine .delegation went to Geneva to make history, but made a mess of things. Mie tendency in Argentine is for the functionaries to resign and explain later. We suppose Rueyrredon’s explanations are en route. The newspaper “Carazbn” says the delegates are exercising their rights in retiring from the Assembly, but their course has nothing to do with Argentine, continuing to he a member of the League. . ’ -i-*. .
GREEK POSITION. (Received This Day at 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 6. Tlie Chicago “Tribune’s” Athens correspondent says the Allies will destroy Greece’s foreign credit, and to suck an extent it lias the effect cf a blockade. Constantine telegraphed to the Royal family and acknowledged receipt of a long message from the Allies who explained the situation and left abdication to Constantine. The situation is of the aeutest. Officials predict a compromise between Venizelists and Constantine.

The Alliance Aeroplane Coy. is suing the Union Insurance C*y. of Canton for five thousand for the loss of a machine as cabled on the ].3th November, 1919. The accident occurred a few minutes before the expiration of policy. Tim defence contends the policy covered only trial flights in England, and not a flight to Australia. COMMERCIAL NEWS.
