LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
i AUSTUALIAK <fc N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION LEAGUE AND SMALL STATES. GENEVA, December 6. M. Viviani (France) addressing Journalists here, stated the League sub-com-mittee had decided not to admit at present either Armenia or the Baltic States. This was owing to their unsettled condition. They would be- -invited, however, to take a part in, the deliberations of the Assembly and on the technical committees. When asked whether there were nnjjJ'' differences between the League and ’the London Allied Ministers Conference in regard to this subject, he said: “No; hut' the frontiers were so confused ihat the League was unable to guarantee them against invasion, and had not the means for enforcing its ruling.”
