William Lambeth, aged 73, died suddenly in St. David’s Presbyterian Church on Sunday morjiing. He unveiled a roll of honoUr during'the service, saying a few Words to tSio congregation and walked to his sent; .while the hymn “Now tiie Labourer's Task is Over,” was being sung. Oh sitting down, he fell forward, was carried into the vestibule and expired soon after. Ho had been under niedical treatment for heart trouble.

At the Magistrate's Court today Thomas Martin, a, labourer was committed for trial on a charge that on November 9th. he attempted to influence by a bribe a juryman named Angus Duncan Campbell in the case of lie King v. Frederick Spencer Easton, and on three charges of attempting to influence three otlier jurymen iii their conduct.
