The quarterly meeting was held at noon. Present—Messrs C. R. Orr-Wal-ker, S.M. (Chairman), C. J. Nightingale, A. Clifton, and F. McGregor. Application for renewal, Anna L. Bernhardt, Ngahere Hotel.-Granted. Application for renewal, John McFarlane, Bremond’s Hotel, Kumara. Granted. Application for transfer from Denis Moynihan, to .Tas Steele, Otira Gorge Hotel.-Granted. Application for transfer, of Caledonian Hotel, Stafford; L. W. Morgan, to W. T. Blackmun. —Granted. The various police reports on - the cbnduct of hotels in the district were considered satisfactory. The meeting then adjourned. -
