The “Daily News” twits j. W. P. T. Douglas for deciding to omit Parkin from to-morrow’s match on the ground that the Australian batsmen have been familiar with his methods. The “Daily News” says:—Parkin will sit in the pavilion with powerful glasses seeking out the weak points in Armstrong’A defence. He will be lucky if he finds them.
