Tile values obtaihed were much off a par with those rtiliftg at recent North Island sales. Although the tanners were well represented, there was ho animation in the market. Some lots did not elicit a bid, this beirig Uoticably in the case with anything slippy or cut. The jirices were—Ox hides lOjd, cow hides Bd, yearling hides 7d, calf hides 12d.
