The Social revolutionary plot against the Soviet was betrayed by Hoelzer, a well known dancer. She afterwards was foilnd strangled. The Soviet immediately shot sixty plotters.
A WATER-SPOUT. TANGIER, Nov 23. A huge waterspout broke over the town causing floods and a collapse of buildings. Several persons were drowned. •
RAILWAY SERVANTS PROTEST. MARTON Nov. 30. At a representative meeting the following resolution was carried unanL N mously“That the Marton branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway servants, indignantly and emphatically protest and wholeheartedly condemn the action of the Department in contravening both in the spirit and letter, the terms of Clause 23 of the agreement arrived at between the Executive Council and the Department on June 23rd. We furthermore call upon the Executive \ Council to take the necessary action immediately to have all terms of the agreement adhered to and liberally interpreted, which though promised, has not beon carried
