Professor Maclntyre commenting on the suspension of Rev Murray of Auckland, said the latter’s action and teaching were a denial of the doctrine of the Presbyterian Church. Efforts were previously made to effect a peaceful settlement, but had proved abortive. Murray was not deposed, and could return when he was prepared to carry out the doctrine.of the Church.
