NORMA TALMADGifi MONDAY

“By Right of Conquest”’ screened under tho title of “Tho Isle of Conquest” and featuring Norma Talinadge will be presented by Pollard’s o'n Monday. Two Talinadges in one picture—Norma and her little sister 'Natalie are both featured in “The Isle of Conquest.” Of course Norma is the light of the story, but Natalie has quite a prominent part and shows the Talmadge' talent to a marked degree. The story develops some extraordinary situations, commencing with a girl’s unhappy marriage of convenience, progressing to a shipwreck at sea with the heroine cast away on a lonely island with one lone companion, a stoker from lier husband’s yacht. They grew to love to each other and are about’ to marry according to pagan rites when they are rescued and friend husband' unfortunately turns up. tier work in “The Islo of Conquest” is the best Norma has done, and the lovely little star appears in the most delightful surroundings mostly attired in the abbreviated remains of the fancy dress she was wearing at the time of the wreck.

On Wednesday next Montagu Love will be featured in a big World drama entitled “Rough Neck.”
