OKARITO RACES

The Okarito racing committee having received a permit from the Government have issued their programme for the race meeting which is to take place on the' 27th December'. A meeting of the committee was held on Saturday and all arrangemens were made for the cohveiiieiico of the public and also the improvement of the course. Large fields are expectecl and there is every probability of the races being well contested. Should'the weather prove favourable a record gathering will be on the course, anci that evening a'grand ball is to be held in the hall, so that visitors can have ‘ every opportunity of enjoying theselves. The committee are determined to do their best for the public.
