[AUSTRALIAN & N.Z. CABLE ABBOOIATI )N GREECE’S KING. - (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, Nov. 21. Britain and France both opposed Constantine’s return. Franco suggests a strong warning to Greece, while Britain prefers to await next Sunday’s plebisdte. Should the latter indicate Constantine’s recall, Britain will recommend the withdrawal of some Greek mandates and a revision of the Sevres Treaty in the belief that Greek troops in Smyrna constitute a menace, instead of a guarantee. ATHENS, Nov. 20. A full length oil portrait of Constantine is hung in the Premier’s residence. Portraits of Constantine were also placed in the Government Offices'and Law Courts. GREEK PRINCES. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) . ROME, Nov. 20. Ex-King Constantine’s brothers Andrew. and Christopher, have arrived at Brindisi, en route to Athens. GREEK ATTITUDE. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, Nrv. 20, ExrKing Constantine informed a correspondent at Lucerne that if the Entente ppposed his return after a plebiscite majority recalling him to the throne, the Greek Parliament will appeal to the League of Nations to see the Greek nation’s desire is fulfilled.
