The trial of Samuel John Thorn, charged with the murder of Sidney Eyre, at PukeWawa, on August 24th. was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day. \ After a long retirement, the jury TJrtimated that there was no prospect of an agreement. * The Chief Justice ordered a new trial. The case has created the greatest interest throughout the hearing.
