IN IRELAND.
(Reuter’s Telegram.) WAR IN IRELAND. LONDON, November 16. Tho Minister of Wax, Hon. W. Churchill, made a statement in Parliament regarding the casualties in the fighting in Ireland. He informed the House of Commons that since the 30th. of last June in Ireland there were thirty soldiers killed and ninety wound- ' ed. It was believed, he added that the Irish had suffered heavy casualties. ;• DR. MANNIX. LONDON, November 17. Dr. Mannix is visiting the North of England, and delivers addresses. He speaks at Rich dale next week. The Salford Municipal Council have refused to allow Dr Mannix the use of their Town Hall to address a meeting on Sunday. ! BANK ROBBERIES. I LONDON, Nov. 16. , ! Daring hank robberies are reported. In Dublin a large sum was taken by two well-dressed young men from a people’s penny bank. In London three men held up the Pembroke Street branch of the National Bank and escaped with three thousand sterling. DARING KIDNAPPERS-. ! LONDON, 'November 16. s Armed civilians held up a train at Waterfall Station Ireland. They covered the crew, dragged several passengers from the carriages, forced them into motors, and vanished.
