POLLARD’S PICTURES. MONDAY—A STORY OF RED " RUSSIA’. A startling 'story of Bolshevik Red Russia under the old and new moon is told in “The New Moon”, a marvellous Select feature, starring Norma'*Talmadgo, the star picture on Monday’s ali new display. The story takes you to far-away Russia, where the women register as common property of the community. There is dancing and festivity in the Palace, and the Princess, dancing in the arms of her Prince, is unaware of the lurking and unhidden guest. Then comes a blinding flash—disorder and death visit upon the scene, and the old moon goes to sleep on one of the greatest crimes in history. The action of the story carries you through the big cities and small towns of the vast empire. A big supporting programme, including educational and topical subjects will also be screened. 1
