The Legislative Council met at 10.30 a.m. The following measures were passed— Finance Bill; Life Insurance Amendment Bill; 'Appropriation Bill. THE HOUSE. The House resumed at 2.30 p.m. The Supplementary Estimates were brought down by Governor General’s message. The total £2,148,000, making with the estimates £30,465,997. The whole of the vote was passed by five o’clock when Mr Massey moved the scond reading of the Appropriation Bill.' The measure 'was put through all stages by 8.40 p.m. and at 11.10 p.m the House adjourned and the session ended.
