" (Reuter’s Telegram.,* MALONE’S ARREST. (Received This Day at 11.30 a.m.) • LONDON, November 11. Hon. Shortt in the Commons, said Major Malone was arrested under the Defence of the Realm Act in consequence of a speech at Albert Hall. He would be tried at London police court. Hon. Lloyd George said thero is no confirmation of Malone’s reported statement that four million roubles had been raised in Russia for Sinn Feiners, but Government was keeping a close watch to intercept transmission of money from Russia.) Government would shortly publish documents found in possession of Sinn Feiners establishing his implication in a German plot. Sir Hamar (Greenwood stated that approximately three hundred people had been killed and five hundred wounded in Ireland during the year ended Ist. November, including civilians.
