The weather is fairly good though a fronttal fish tail wind produced problems for 1 competitors. -In the first stage, ten shots each at 300 ,500, and 600 yards, Godkins of Mildurn was top with 33, 35,33. Total 107. Degrandi (Warranbool) was second with the same total. , New Zealanders are not mentioned. In the Templeton shoot, Marsden of Sydney, secured tho possible with ten shots at six hundred yards.
