Shadow Dance won the same race two years ago. Tliercj was a great contest in the Railway Highweight handicap. Earl Simon who was third in the first stages, in the last stride from the early leader) Yoorala. The New Zealand bred All Aboard, on'the outside finished fast) in third place. Earl Simon is owned and trained in Adealide. Canowindra on the outside came fast in the Nov-r ember Nursery and won in the , last twenty yards. Time 3.25}. , When the field settled down Salitros was in front, Taiigalooma and Malurys being net. Salitros led past the stand from Erasmus, Sea Bound and Syce Knight. Eurythemic was running about eighth. Salitros had a two lengths lead from Malurys, running down the side, and had command to the approaching six furlongs, where Tang.-y looma went to the front. The order in r to the straight was Erasmus, Tangaloonm, X’aratco, Eurythemic, and Poitrel. Erasmus had a load of a couple of lengths from Eurythemic below the distance, and at the distance Erasmus was in front. Eurythemic being next. Poitrel came with a fine run on the outside and beat Erasmus by half a length Queen Comedy w.as two lengths off. Then came Kennaquhair, Paratoo, Ecai-te, Red Cardinal and Taiigalooma. with Salitros Malurys was
