HOKITIKA FIRE BRIGADE
Tlie quarterly meeting of the Brigade was held last evening. Present—Sup. Braddon (chair), Dep. Sup. G. Davidson and twenty members. The minutes of. last, meeting were read and confirmed, and outward correspondence approved. _ . The inward correspondence included a number of letters from the Hokitika Fire Board dealing with matters to which attention had already been given, and including a covering letter from Inspector Hugo, iu which lie reported as against the necessity of a motor reel for Hokitika, in view of the excellently firranged fire stations throughout the town, and the marked\efficiency of tlie members of the Brigade. ; The Secretary of the West Coast.
