(Reuter’s Telegram.; McSWEENEY’S' REMAINS. LONDON, October 28. The Government, has refused to allow McSweeney’s body to be landed in Dublin. It will only (give n special steamer to convey the body to Cork. SCENE AT HOLYKEAT (Received This Day at 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 29. On arrival of McSweeney’s body at Holyhead the stationmaster proceeded to carry out instructions and transfer the body to a special steamer direct „ for Cork. The Irish Party made vehement protests and after a lengthy altercation the police entered the van and forcibly ejected a young man. Miss • McSweeney created a further scene. She and another lady were ejected and the coffin was removed by a large armed escort aboard the steamer. Disap- . pointed Irishmen remained on the Quay nnd knelt in prayer as the steamer left. They then boarded a Kingston mailboat.
