As a result of extremist agitations, students in various educational centres are attempting to turn the colleges into national organisations under the Khalifat committee. Several hundred students resigned from the colleges and at lahoro a thousand made a demonstration urging all students in India to resign. The police are taking measures to guard Government property. The movement is disorganising educational work throughout the country. INDIAN FRONTIER OPERATIONS DELHI, Oct. 26. 150 Waziri tribesmen raided Kamar Bridge Camp on Jandola Road, and rifled stores. In beating-off the raiders the British suffered sixteen casualties. The raiders left one dead. Having settled the Mahsud trouble, the Indian Government sent terms to Wanawaziri tribesmen who actually assisted Afghanistan in the last war. The terms include a fine of five thousand pounds,, the surrender of tribal rifles, and the right to locate troops, build posts and roads in Wana country. The tribes are allowed a month in which to reply to the ultimatum.
