(By Electric Telegraph—Conyrigut.) A DENIAL. LONDON, October 25. Mr H. G. Wells, the writer, has ■,eturued to London from Ms visit to Russia. He denies the alleged interview at Riga wherein he was reported to have said there was only disorder in Russia. M,r Wells also denies the allegation that he had with Maxim Gorky formulated a scheme for the rescue * f Russian intellectuals. Mr Wells says that despite the six years of war she had to face, there is now much order and much courage in Russia.. RUSSIA AND ROUMANIA. COPENHAGEN, Oct. 26. A message from Warsaw states Tchicherin has accepted peace overtures from Roumania. He declared Russia was ready to repay Roumania six hundred million lire in gold deposits ~ in Russian banks during the war. BIG TRAIN. SMASH. VLADIVOSTOCK, October, 24. A mail train going to Harbin was wrecked at Pogranichxya. One hundred people were killed, including several actors and actresses of Dolin’s company, the best-known theatrical enterprise in the Far East.
