/ ■ POLLARD’S PICTURES* “THE SILENT STRENGTH” WEDNESDAY. On Wednesday next Pollards will screen a big Vitagraph Western Feature “The Silent Strength” starring the popular Vitagraph star, Harry Morey who will make his reappearance after an absence of some time in this big Western Drama 1 of bush lif e among the lumber camps. The story introduces the dual character problem and gives it a decided novel and interesting twist, making it the best double picture seen for somie time. The double exposure is wonderfully well done and the photoplay generally is exceedingly beautiful. Altogether “The Silent Strength” is one of the strongest attractions of the screen. On Thursday a smile-all-the while picture “The Veiled Adventure” featuring naughty, saucy, Constance |Talmadge. She has a smile that would civilise a Bolshie; a pair of eyes that would dazzle a saint; and the manners of a. Sunday-school teacher, she is like some rare painting, the more yon see of her the greater your admiration.
