fAUSTRALIAN A N.Z. CABLE ISSOOIATIOnI EMBARGO ON FRUIT. (Received This Day at 10.40 a.m.) OTTAWA, Oct. 25. Government officials have received information indicating that Japan has put an embargo on fruit from United States, Canada, Australia, New Zea.land, Tasmania, South Africa, Brazil and Europe. It is stated the embargo is to prevent the introduction of fruit diseases into Japan.
